Facebook: Connecting OFW

PEBA 2012 OFW Blog Entry Nominees No.7 Blog and Me

The morning we wake up in the morning up to the "hikab" time social media never fails to connect us to our love ones.

  6. Social media bridged families and friends way better than it was before. Although some still prefer the old fashioned version of things, like printed cards and such. But that's not the point. The real deal is how social media closed the gap of communication between individuals.

  76. facebook + other social media sites, are really perfect avenues to bridge the distance, especially for our OFW kababayans, and best of all it is free + all you need is a reliable internet connection, WIFI or a handy-dandy mobile device.

  86. Everything has its advatage and disadvatage.
