Today is my boy's first day of school. Summer vacation is over and my 4 years old son is so happy about it. He actually hates summer vacation because he want to stay in school 24/7 without any holidays or breaks. He excitedly went to bed last night thinking that tomorrow is the first day of school. And just like before, he woke me up at 6 am with a smile on his face, "mommy, wake up, it's 6 o'clock, time to go to school!". You must be wondering how he knew the time. I have a digital clock in the bed room and he can read the time really well.
Just sharing here part of the conversation of my 2 boys on the way to the school this morning. I was driving while they were seated at the back seat. My eldest son was testing his younger brother if he is ready for school.
Q. Kuya (older brother)- What comes after "A" and "B"
A. Bunso (youngest brother)- ahh, "C"
Q. Kuya (older brother)- What comes after "D" and "E"
A. Bunso (youngest brother)- ahh, "F"
Q. Kuya (older brother)- What does the cow say?
A. Bunso (youngest brother)- ahh, "yes".
Me- lol! the cow say "yes" instead of "moo!". We all laughed.
I went with him in the classroom and just like last year, he ignored me at the sight of the classroom, he just want me to go and leave him alone. I talked to the teacher, asked few questions and the things he needed, took a couple of pictures to be posted on his Facebook account and said goodbye to him.
Congrats to Bunso! First day of school is always most exciting experience and most memorable for every one of us :-)
ReplyDeleteYour little boy's so adorable! ^^ It's so nice to see a child so eager to go to school. I'm sure he really enjoys his teacher and classmates' company so much.
ReplyDeleteWeee!! I bet it's more exciting for the parents than the kids..hihihih!
ReplyDeleteMy son is a little excited about school but not as much as when he was younger. He would cry pag bakasyon na. I am glad that your son wants to go to school. Maganda yan! Thanks for leaving your footprints in my blog. I appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteNot sure if my first comment went through but anyway it is nice that he is excited to be back to school. Ang anak ko medyo excited but not that excited. By the way, thank you for leaving a footprint in my blog. I truly appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteI remember when I was a little girl and it's my first day of school. I was very excited to see the class and who's gonna be my seatmate. :)
ReplyDeleteMarms
Same here, marms. Though, my hubby thinks that I'm such a dorky little girl.. :/
Deleteas a mother, we becomes proud when we see our children enjoying the things they do. I guess, i have many things to experience considering the fact that my little girl is just starting to study.
ReplyDeletemy daughter loves school days too..
ReplyDeleteYour son seems very attentive, just by looking at the pictures. Congratulations too, for racing a good and smart kid like bunso. Guess, he will grow up as a leader and independent. :D
ReplyDeleteWe are lucky to have kids who love school! I hope they won't outgrow it and just keep on studying until they finish college!
ReplyDeleteI love the conversation on the way to school :))
I also was excited with school when I was younger not because I'm thrilled by sitting in class but because I get to interact with people my age.
ReplyDeleteAwww.. you're bunso is growing up so fast! You're little boy is an enthusiastic one! He sure knows when to start asking you to leave..hehe! But that's still a good sign. Most kids are even afraid to let go of their parents on the first day. :/
ReplyDeleteHe's like my little brother. He likes summer vacations but he loves going to school more! When he gets home he tells me what they did to school and show me his star stamps when he gets any :)
ReplyDeleteYour son looks very bibo :D
My youngest son behave that way too! He doesn't want to be seen together with Mom and Dad whenever he is in school. They think that they are already "big boys" and no longer need under the watchful eyes of their parents. I guess our little boys are growing up too fast :(
ReplyDeleteI love how Kuya looks after Bunso. :)
ReplyDeleteVery good BUNSO. Kids are like that they love to go to school. Hope as they grow old they still have that LOVE for school.
ReplyDeletehahaha had a good laugh about the cow and bunso replied :'yes'... i suddenly miss my 2 younger brothers... :)
