Day Out at Raymond Gary State Park

Just like every kids, my youngest son loves to play in the park. Here in our place, Raymond Gary State Park is his favorite place to play with. So if I have time, I bring him to this scenic park.

The park has a swimming area and a playground with 8 pieces of equipment such as merry go round, swing, slides and see saw. There is also bathrooms/comfort stations for everybody's convenience. This is also a great place for fishing and boating.

The pictures was taken after the egg hunting activity in the school, the kids can go home with parents after the activity but my son requested if he can play in the park. Luckily, the local elementary school had their field trip that day, so he had fun mingling with them.

  1. Very nice park; perfect for kite flyers, great span of area for wind to always come by.

  2. Going to a park is a fun way to spend family time. Plus, it's a perfect way to take the kids away from the TV and the computer.

  4. Nice park! Well, we don't have those types of parks here in our place, (and I think that they are just a few here in the PH), where you can do picnic, play, and do whatever you want. I would love to go there. :)

  8. Public playgrounds in our place are not well-maintained so the various equipment like slide and swing are dirty, rusted and some are out of order unlike in private parks situated in exclusive villages. Your son looks overwhelmingly happy playing in that park.

  10. Here in Davao we do have Peoples Park(Public Park), well maintained lots of trees, playgrounds, etc. except for the swimming area we don't have like that here, only fountains. Very nice park indeed.

  11. Can I be honest? I envy you for having beautiful parks because here in the Philippines there are actually no nearby parks that we can go. I'm really hoping that the Philippines will have one too.

  14. The photos show me the only thing missing from Manila's version of this place (BGC) - water features!

  16. I missed going to the park. Last week we plan but it rains so we cancelled. Love to go to the park with complete facilities.. Looks like your son really enjoyed the day at the park.

  17. Parks are not just for kids, though.. 'coz I also enjoy them. Perhaps because we don't have much in the Philippines. I hope we have more "safe" parks at home.
