Is Jackie Chan Anti-American?

Jackie Chan earned millions of dollars for doing some American movies and has millions of American fans but now into controversy because of several anti-American remarks during an interview for a Hong Kong tv show.

Chan said that America is “the most corrupt country in the world” and that the Chinese people should be proud of their country.

Chan said (with some translation help from the Post): “If you talk about corruption, the entire world, the United State, has no corruption? (The United States) is the most corrupt in the world. Where does this Great Breakdown [financial crisis] come from? It started exactly from the world, the United States. When I was interviewed in the U.S., people asked me, I said the same thing. I said now that China has become strong, everyone is making an issue of China. If our own countrymen don’t support our country, who will support our country? We know our country has many problems. My say: He is entitled to his own opinion, but that that doesn't mean he's totally right about the United States of America. He's just being patriotic to his country. Corruption is everywhere even in China and some countries are worst than America. In my opinion, I will agree, if he said Philippines instead of America.
