Anyway, I was ready to clean the kitchen floor, grabbed the mop and the bucket. Pour some water while son was playing beside me with cars scattered all over the floor.
Here was our conversation that transpired in the kitchen.
mommy- J, Can you play in the living room coz mommy is going to clean the floor (while filling the bucket with water and antibacterial and disinfectant cleaner)
little boy- mommy, why do you clean the kitchen?
mommy- so we have a clean kitchen.
little boy- (he saw the disinfectant cleaner) mommy, what is that?
mommy- disinfectant ( I helped him grabbed his toys and moved just outside the kitchen door)
little boy- why do you use that?
mommy- to kill bacteria's and germs.
little boy- why?
mommy- so they won't go into your tummy.
little boy- ohh, they will go into my tummy?
mommy- yes, they will stay in your tummy, they will grow and multiply and then you will get sick.
little boy- oh, okay.
End of conversation and he continued playing with his cars. Well, I guess, mommy answered all his questions very well.
I am sure all the mommy's has their own experience's to share too. The joy of being a mommy! It is indeed the most fulfilling job in the whole world, taking care of the little "BOSS" in our lives. No amount of money can buy the happiness being with them everyday, attending to their every needs, tantrums and all. The best gift from God.
haha!! that's a good way of answering questions.. I remember those times where I used to ask almost everything that my mom starts to be irritated.. :)
ReplyDeleteGood to think that your son is not that Kulit, some Kulit children, the questions will not really end, it will produce another question after answering another. But they are kids and its normal
ReplyDeleteQuestions after questions are just kids being kids. I feel you tatess, I experience the same way being a work at home dad.
ReplyDeleteit's a very common traits of kids... curiosity. but it also means intelligence. we just need to be patient in answering. Yahweh bless.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to this one. Being a daily yaya to my 4-year old apo is something. He too , always ask "why" questions. Its a battle of wits between thw two of us. LOL I am always anticipating to hear the magic words from him' Ah, sige'. End of conversation.
ReplyDeleteOh geez, my daughter is 2 years old and is becoming talkative. I'll just prepare myself for her questions =)
ReplyDeleteKids can really be curious and have so many questions but its a good start as they start the process of learning.
ReplyDeleteI find it cute when children ask so many questions and I feel I am an expert to the subject matter.
ReplyDeleteYoung children are very "notorious for their never-ending why questions. Their questions though are signs of a healthy active curious mind so parents just have to answer them as best as they can like you patiently did with your child.
ReplyDeleteI finds kids (not all ha! LOL) cute and adorable but it all goes away when they start crying and gets sooo annoying na. Haha! But that conversation is cute and me thinks you're one of the cool moms! :)
ReplyDeleteHahah clever little kid. You're lucky to have all his questions answered ... I constantly deal with "why" questions and to this day, haven't found the correct way to end it (usually I just scratch my head and just offer to buy my kid ice cream to get him to stop)
ReplyDeleteHaha kids always are curious about everything they see and observe. Even though I'm not considered as a kid now, I still question the world most of the time and that can't be helped.
ReplyDeleteCool! Glad he didn't go to the "neverending questions" routine or you'll never be able to finish cleaning the kitchen! haha my son is still 1y 3m but I bet I'd surely be frustrated when he begins asking question after question all day long :P
ReplyDeletehe!he! just like my 4y old boy, mine has lots of questions and sometimes it irrates me that I am running out of answers. So it is my duty therefore to be knowledgeable or updated with everything.
ReplyDeleteLOL, my daughter does not ask unending questions but she talks non-stop or reasons out non-stop!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I can't wait to have my own children and answer all those unending questions. I hope I have the patience for that.
ReplyDeleteThat's nice, your child starts to wonder and it's a sign that he is curious of the world.
ReplyDeleteOnce a child is asking questions, his mind is starting to WONDER and EXPLORE the World.
ReplyDeletesame with my four-year-old. i really must be careful with my answers, because my answer might lead to another question, and there be no end to the questions. yes, indeed, they are the best gift from God. visiting from Color Connection.
ReplyDeleteMy niece is also like that. She asks a lot of "why questions" and sometimes, it's really hard to answer! :p
ReplyDeleteChildren are so cute! Hearing them asking questions like every minute is never tiring for me. :)
ReplyDeleteindeed! being a mom is the most fulfilling job in the world.. your little boy is very inquisitive :)
ReplyDeleteOh I have a lot of those moments!
