Independence Day is celebrated every Fourth of July. This is a Federal Holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of the Independence on July 4,1776.
Independence Day celebrations often take place outdoors like the parades, fireworks and backyard barbecues. The families takes advantage of the holiday by hosting or attending a picnic or barbecue with friends and relatives. Parades are often in the morning while the fireworks displays occur in the evening at such places as parks, fairgrounds, or town squares. The night before the Fourth was once the focal point of celebrations, marked by gatherings often incorporating bonfires as their centerpiece.
Independence Day fireworks are often accompanied by patriotic songs such as the national anthem "God Bless America", "My Country, 'Tis of Thee", "America the Beautiful", "The Star-Spangled Banner", "Stars and Stripes Forever", "This Land Is Your Land" and regionally, "Yankee Doodle" in Northeastern States and "Dixie" in Southern States. Some of the lyrics recall images of the Revolutionary Warrior the War of 1812.

My kids and I enjoyed the fireworks that only lasted for 15 minutes. I missed to take a good shot of some of the fireworks because I parked the car where the Casino building was blocking the Fireworks show.
