Happy Birthday Big Boy

My youngest son turned 4 years last week. He clearly told us that he is already a big boy and not a baby anymore. For his big day, he only had three requests, a birthday cake and candles to blow, lots of toys, so I took him to Walmart's toy section to get some toys of his choice and lastly, to play at Mc Donald's play area, have a Mc chicken burger and a Happy Meal for a free toy inside.

How time flies. It seems only yesterday when I gave birth to a tiny premature baby boy in Qatar. He came unexpectedly into our lives but the joy I felt when I found out I was pregnant after 4 years of waiting was unexplainable, the best Christmas present from God. I still remember his first trip to the Philippines to visit my family. They were all excited to meet him for the first time and the sadness on their face when we all left for USA. His first year in the US made a lot of changes in his life, a place where he really belong.

Anyway, enough for the nostalgia, here is something that I want to share with you. I always love to blog about our conversation, so please bear with me for this.

One of the toy that he chose at the toy section, he is a self proclaimed Ben 10 and very powerful, real strong boy just like mommy with Supermommy power. But the rule is, we are not allowed to use our power in the house.
