Aldrich Lloyd Talonding, 14 year and cousin, James Walter Bucong from the Philippines were invited by non other than Ellen DeGeneres to be a guest on her show. A cousin posted the video of Aldrich singing a Luther Vandross' "Dance With My Father" on Facebook and another cousin uploaded it on YouTube. The video becomes viral. Zendee Rose Tenerefe another Filipino YouTube sensation, also known a the “Supermarket Superstar,” helped “Ellen” producers get in touch with the boys.
An invitation was aired on Ellen DeGenere 's talk show, “I am looking for you. Please come here. I want you to sing for me and my friends. You are amazing.”. “How beautiful is that? Such soul in that little boy.”

It is always a good thing when our local talents are given attention by international celebrities because of the media exposure they get. Hoping the best for Aldrich and James.
ReplyDeleteThis is quite a lovely song and when sang by such beautiful voices and with great rendition, it will really give you goosebumps. i has when i heard this boy singing it a few hours before ellen's invitation gone viral too. Singers are one of the Filipinos' greatest gifts (aside from OFWs) :)
