Years back, during my teenage years, I used to have a dairy to record what has happened to me over the day. It includes my personal experiences, feelings and of course the most important entry was about my school crush and love life. Inside the pages of the diary, I can freely write everything about how I feel to someone secretly. These simple diary makes me feel better at the end of the day and upon reading it over and over again. Teenage life is the most colorful part of our lives, no doubt about it.
Nowadays, some personal diaries are in the form of blog, written for public viewing and no longer private anymore. Personal blog is a daily update of the activities, ideas, thoughts, inspiration, and everything that happened around us. It helps the blogger tell the story of their lives and others or a rant into something else.
I have here a sample copy of a diary, written in Tagalog that somebody posted on Facebook wall. It is actually a joke, a funny joke of "ugly meets stupid" diary. Keep smiling!
Oh Dear! I am 17 and Still I write diaries. I Write everything in it moreover, its my best friend which never objects and loves what i write in it. Thanks Peace and Blessings
ReplyDeleteVery funny (classic?) example. Never fail to sent me to chuckles. I had a diary when I was a teenager. Now it has evolved into a personal/book blog. Diaries--they have a sense of satisfaction and an effective way to pump out thoughts and exercise writing skills. Great post! :)
ReplyDeleteA nice blog to read eventhough I don't keep any diary. Keep up the good work. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's really funny and desperate of the letter writer. It would have been an excellent scene for a gag show.
ReplyDeleteThe evolution of a diary back in the day is what we call these days - a blog. :)
ReplyDeleteI still keep one, but I only update every once in a while... with really juicy secrets. Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteI used to have a diary too. I wrote most of my high school life. Unfortunately I lost it and I suspect an ex secretly took it :(
ReplyDeleteYes, its really funny . If I feel bored I'll just read my diary especially in a day ,having lots of memorable experience.

ReplyDeleteTawang tawa ako dun sa example post. LOL. Hahaha. Halatang martir lang, eh no?
ReplyDeleteBut now, I consider my blog as diary for my very random thoughts. Haha
Ahaha. In denial ba siya or talagang tanga lang :D Seriously, I miss the old days when we wrote in notebooks and kept our thoughts private ;)
ReplyDeleteI also kept diaries when I was a teen! I still have them and read them sometimes... Yeah, there are things we cannot write on our blogs unlike in diaries.
ReplyDeleteI never considered writing a journal when I was a kid. So ironic since now, I'm writing 2 personal blogs online. Anyway the diary ng pangit was hilarious. :))
ReplyDeletethis is why i got into blogging, i never had a chance to write a diary. nice

ReplyDeletevery funny.. i once started to have a diary but i noticed that everytime i write i only get to have memories of not so good ones, i don't know why. so i stopped it.
ReplyDeleteHahaha.. That's a good one mommy tess! :D Anyway, I used to keep a personal diary before too. We were required in English class back in grade 4 kasi. hahaha :D
ReplyDeleteI used to keep a diary when I was younger. And I was diligent in making my daily post, my stories were either good or bad.
ReplyDeleteWriting what I experienced for the day is a form of relaxation for me.
This reminds me of my teen age years i use to write about anything if i think something i put it to writings and i really keep my diary secret. When i was in college i burnt it! lol
ReplyDeletei never had diaries even before. the diary that you've shared i think i seen it went viral on facebook. it's hilarious lol
ReplyDeletehahahahahahahhaa.... "Na horny ako!" Ganun! hilarious. I used to have a diary back in HS and I also had a crush and I just can't help staring at him. He was so cute and funny and really gwapo. He found out I had a crush on him and he loved messing with me especially during our CAT Officer training. Waaaaaaaaaaaa.. kilig moments.. hahaha Anyway, diaries can also help people by letting out their emotions through writing. Now a days, hi-tech na eh.. may blog na for public viewing na rin. hehehehe..
ReplyDeleteI have diary before but I stop when I have my first kid. Just too busy better blogging hehehhe...
