Philippine Election 2013: Filipino's, the Worst Voters in the World

Partial election results are all over the social media. And whether we like it or not, partial results will most probably be the final results. Based on the results, the leading were the most controversial candidates during the election campaign, those belong to the political dynasty or trapo, Aquino's relatives, Binay's OJT daughter, Fernando Poe's daughter, Estrada's son, ex politician who was charged and sentence for crimes, graft and corruptions, one lady senator who was busted for undeclared assets from another country, a son of the sitting chamber president, former senators spouse and children.

What else is new? This is a normal  Philippine election, Filipino citizen don't care who to vote anymore, they just vote for the sake of voting and  to exercise the right to vote. Elected politicians are after fame, power and wealth. Now, do not wonder why, Philippines is  consider as one of the most popular poorest countries in the world.

Let me share you this quote from one of the FaceBook user, "They own everything. They own all the important land, they own and control the corporations that have long since bought and paid for, the senate, the congress, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pocket, and they own all the big media companies so they control just about all of the news and the information you get to hear. They got you by the balls. They spend billions to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else. But I'll tell you what they don't want. They don't want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don't want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They're not interested in that. That doesn't help them."

God Bless Philippines!

  2. I am saddened by this truth, but I am still optimistic that our country will awake from it's century-old slumber. All I can do is hope and pray for the best. Hopefully, in the next elections, the right and not the rich, the proficient and not the popular will be elected. You're right, GOD BLESS THE PHILIPPINES!
