Back To School, Summer Vacation is Over

Today is my boy's first day of school. Summer vacation is over and my 4 years old son is so happy about it. He actually hates summer vacation because he want to stay in school 24/7 without any holidays or breaks. He excitedly went to bed last night thinking that tomorrow is the first day of school. And just like before, he woke me up at 6 am with a smile on his face, "mommy, wake up, it's 6 o'clock, time to go to school!". You must be wondering how he knew the time. I have a digital clock in the bed room and he can read the time really well.

Just sharing here part of the conversation of my 2 boys on the way to the school this morning. I was driving while they were seated at the back seat. My eldest son was testing his younger brother if he is ready for school.

Q. Kuya (older brother)- What comes after "A" and "B"
A. Bunso (youngest brother)- ahh, "C"

Q. Kuya (older brother)- What comes after "D" and "E"
A. Bunso (youngest brother)- ahh, "F"

Q. Kuya (older brother)- What does the cow say?
A. Bunso (youngest brother)- ahh, "yes".

Me- lol! the cow say "yes" instead of "moo!". We all laughed.

I went with him in the classroom and just like last year, he ignored me at the sight of the classroom, he  just want me to go and  leave him alone. I talked to the teacher, asked few questions and the things he needed, took a couple of pictures to be posted on his Facebook account and  said goodbye to him.

Here is his First Day of School behavior remark.

  11. I also was excited with school when I was younger not because I'm thrilled by sitting in class but because I get to interact with people my age.

  12. Awww.. you're bunso is growing up so fast! You're little boy is an enthusiastic one! He sure knows when to start asking you to leave..hehe! But that's still a good sign. Most kids are even afraid to let go of their parents on the first day. :/

  13. He's like my little brother. He likes summer vacations but he loves going to school more! When he gets home he tells me what they did to school and show me his star stamps when he gets any :)

Your son looks very bibo :D

  14. My youngest son behave that way too! He doesn't want to be seen together with Mom and Dad whenever he is in school. They think that they are already "big boys" and no longer need under the watchful eyes of their parents. I guess our little boys are growing up too fast :(
