Ziona Chana ,a head of a a Christian sect called Chana Pawl  formed in June 1942 that allows members to take as many wives as he wants .He also is  the head of the world's biggest family with 39 wives,94 children, 14-daughters-in-law and 33 grandchildren.Mr Chana told the Sun: "Today I feel like God's special child. He's given me so many people to look after.I consider myself a lucky man to be the husband of 39 women and head of the world's largest family."The family is well organized with the oldest wife Zathiangi,69 years old, delegates the duties to her fellow wives and their daughters to do  the household chores such as cleaning, washing and preparing meals.

The wives and I: Mr Ziona Chana poses with his 39 wives at their home in Baktawang, Mizoram, India
The 39 wives takes turns to visit Mr. Chana's bedroom while the wives shares a big communal dormitories. He likes to have 8 of his wives waiting on him during the day, keeps the youngest women near his bedroom while the older ones are sleeping further away. Rinkmini, a 35 years old wife said,"We stay around him as he is the most important person in the house" and " the most handsome person in the village". He said that he even married ten women in one year.

You treat this place like a hotel: With 100 rooms the Ziona mansion is the biggest concrete structure in the hilly village of Baktawng
A 100-room, four storey house called Chhuanthar Run (“House of the New Generation”)  at the  hills of Baktwang village, Mizoram state of India.Chana Pawl now numbers at least 400 families, and thousands of followers. It has its own school, a playground, carpentry workshops, farms, and a big garden.

Feeling peckish? The senior ladies of the Chana family show what it takes just to make a meal
The women  spend many hours preparing dinner, which usually requires plucking 30 whole chickens , peeling 132 lbs of potatoes and cooking 220 lbs of rice.
