Valentines 2010

I have 2 sick kids on Valentines day.My both has cough and cold.I brought them at the Children's Hospital .The oldest was prescribed with Zyrtec and Paracetamol and one day sick leave while the youngest with Augmentin , Zyrtec and Paracetamol.Being out for school for one day makes my eldest so happy . For a long time ,he was praying and begging me to allow him to take time out from school like most of his classmate does and this is it.This kids really amazed me ,they took medicines and did not feel dizzy or sleepy at all. R was on his computer and Nintendo DS all day long while J played like he is not sick at all.

I called hubby at the office just to let him know what is going on with the kids but he was at the meeting and promised to call me back as soon as he is free .After an hour ,he called back and hang up without mentioning about the Valentines day.Hubby came home ,I fixed his lunch while he watched his favorite TV show. Then he asked me,"What is the date today?".I answered,"13 or 14?why? ".And that was when I realized that it is A Valentines day and said sorry for not remembering the Hearts day. Hubby answered back ,"me too, Happy Valentines dear!"and held my hand as I greeted him back.

Just an ordinary day ,no flowers for me this time!Oh ,well, what can I do.Anyway ,we celebrates Valentines everyday and it is the thoughts that counts.

  7. What matters is that both of you were there for the kids and you were still together.
