When My Son Met Santa Again

It was Christmas day of  2009 when my son met Santa for the first time.He was only 1 1/2 years old then and did not care about him  or anybody else in that night. All he cared about was to play and run around the place. I love to see the look in his eyes when Santa put him on his lap .He stared at him wondering who was this white bearded starnger.

After 2 years he met him again but this time it was not Christmas yet .We were doing the grocery shopping last Sunday after church  and he was there in one corner of the store sitting and waiting for children to have a picture with him  .The store has a staff in charge for the photo shot  for a free 5x7 picture .The staff was so nice and  actually gave me 2 copies, one is with border the other one without. I told my eldest son to sit right beside Santa so he can have a remembrance too like his little brother but he refused saying he is already big enough to do that .I guess it is time for me to accept that he is now a teen ager. How time flies so fast.

  2. when my eldest was still a toddler, we have a picture with Santa where dad and I were both smiling and she was shedding big tears! She was afraid of Him!

Last year though, she saw Him again, near the grocery, and was the one who insisted of taking a photo with Santa!

    Indeed, time flies so fast.

  3. Your younger son and my son still get mesmerized by Santa. I wonder how I would feel when my son becomes a teenager and he doesn't want any more photo opps with Santa. Sigh! Thanks for visiting my MM entry!

  6. cute kids meeting santa! :) my daughter only met a "man portratying santa" once. she is fascinated with santa every time, but because she knows that santa is not real, she doesn't really mind if she won't have a picture with him! LOL

  7. Lots of wondering there in his eyes while sitting on Santa's lap. The Santa experience is a nice one for kids, although some might think otherwise :D

  9. LOL! Nice pic of your son's wondering look, hehe. I'm pretty sure we all have pictures of us when we were younger sitting on Santa's lap. I remember mine and I know my two kids have theirs as well. It's like tradition.
