Teacher Ordered Students to Hit Bully Classmate

What will you do if you found out that your kid was slapped by his classmates in the classroom as per teachers order?

A 6-year-old boy was accussed of being bully in school, to put an end to his alleged bullying, his teacher came up with a creative way to discipline him, by having 24 other students in the class line up and slap him one-by-one.

The teacher even told him not to tell his parents about it . "The teacher told him not to tell us," said the mother. "My stomach was in knots. It was horrible."

"He was hit on the head, in the face, on the back. And all the kids hit him twice," added by the boy's mother. "He had friends in that class, and friends didn't want to hit him, but the teacher instructed them to hit him."

The incident occurred in early May, but the mother  was not informed about it until weeks later when the principal called. The school fired the teacher and charged along with another teacher who allegedly failed to report the incident.

She want the teacher never to teach again, but I must also say to watch over her kids behavior for being a bully, poor parenting will allow the boy to continue on. Parents must be more aware of what their children are doing and do the disciplining at early age as possible. A little spanking wont hurt him if he did something bad or don't listen after several warnings.

  1. This is cruelty. The teacher has no rights to impose such penalty! Good for him / her, she's not allowed to teach again!

  6. I think I know where the teacher's coming from. It's really hard to put a stop on bullies, but I still think that the teacher didn't have rights to do such penalty. I hope the child's recovering now from the incident, and hoping that he somehow learned a lesson from this.

  7. Violence likewise breeds violence. The kid is just 6 and despite his acts, I believe that there are other means of discipline. I feel bothered thinking about the possible effect of this experience to the kid.

  8. That was uncalled for. There are many other ways to discipline a bully without resorting to violence.

  9. I think it's more on the responsibility of the parents. So sad for the classmates who have to deal with the bully ones. :(

  11. Bullying is terrible, but what the teacher did was equally terrible. Teaching and coercing kids to gang up on someone and violently attack that person isn't right. Even if that kid was bad because he was a bully, and of course he should be punished, but this form of punishment is probably not commensurate to the offense, and it also teaches wrong values to the rest of the kids. It's a good thing that the school fired the teacher, but the school and parents should work together to teach their kids not to bully.

  16. i read this article on yahoo! it's horrible! and even if i have always been at the receiving end of the bullies, this is not acceptable! the 6 year old is still a 6 year old who needs to be guided. this will only exacerbate things and put him in therapy. and what is it exactly teaching the other kids diba? tsk tsk tsk. kawawa din ang bata, baka mas lalo pa yun maging bully!

  17. In everything, including discipline, there are limits to be observed. It would feel horrible for a parent to discover that his/her child is hurt in such a manner especially in a place where children are supposed to be taken cared of and this is true even if the child turns out to be a real bully.

  18. Two wrongs doesn't make anything right, and it definitely won't make things feel better on anyone's end. The teacher doesn't realize that she's also participating as a bully, and teaching her kids to do this was very disappointing. She's the wrong kind of disciplinarian so it's just right that she got terminated from the job. Of course, on the accused bully... it's also best that the kids parents also teach him not to hurt others.

  19. Her way of disciplining her pupil is worse than what the pupil needs disciplinary action for. It's just plain stupid and she really deserved to be terminated.

  20. Although we might think the bully deserved it, I still think it was hardly the appropriate way to deal with the situation. Violence begets violence. Having said that, the bully should face the consequences of his actions. Kids nowadays don't respect authority because they know there would hardly be any action taken to their detriment. Schools should be stricter in monitoring and punishing bullies. Parents should also be dealt with strictly by the school, not bow to them like they're always right. Most times, they would just defend their bully child and would even threaten the school.

  21. What is happening in the world? Hindi ako nagmamalinis kasi there are times na napapalo ko yung daughter ko pero after that I feel so guilty for doing so kasi alam ko na there is still other ways to disciple a kid.

Kapag tumanda yung bata feeling ko mas magiging worse pa siya because of the experience.

  22. whoah! she doesnt have any rights to do that!

  23. wow!! one of my friend also just posted a photo of her kiddo with the bruise on his legs saying someone is bullying him at school. i guess government should worry about this specially public schools. i myself have seen a lot of that when i was in grade school too.

  25. Never did I experience such thing, but I can totally feel the child's agony. The way he was embarrassed and such is unforgivable, especially if the bad deed came from someone who's supposed to teach right conduct.

  26. That's so traumatic. Poor child. If it happened here, then the said teacher should check the Anti-Bullying Act of 2012 H. No.5496.
