Villa Escudero Coconut Plantation and Resort

Villa Escudero is a resort and plantation somewhere in Laguna,Philippines, one of the prime tourist destinations of the locals and foreign visitors of  the country. It was my husband's first trip to Philippines and I know how much he like to drive around the country so we let him be our driver to experience the Phlippine traffic. Hubby,me and my eldest son visited the place in one of our road trips. The place is so cool and the air is fresh because of the surrounding trees and lake.

The museum is inside the resort where you can see religious collections ,costume, coins, household furnitures, weaponry, images and other antique stuff  from the Spanish era.My husband  loves antique and a coin collector so he was really amused of the wide collections inside.I was not able to take pictures because camera's are not allowed inside.

I really like the still water of the lake. The bamboo raft  is an added attraction  for  visitors  who wants to cross the lake using  hands as paddle.

If you want to stay overnight or a longer vacation ,this is one of the accommodations they offer. We went to the place on the way  back home to San Pedro ,Laguna  which is only an hour drive so we did not  stay for overnight.

  6. Such a wonderful place, tranquil. I love seeing a line of coconut trees heading to Villa Escudero. What a traveling experience you've had with your family and your hubby is the driver. Does he have a PH driving license?

    Nice!

  23. it's always one of our getaway options but we still haven't been there. accessibility is a concern. although as they say, great places are really hard to find... i think it deserves of a visit from us talaga. i like lake sceneries, very calm, tranquil and relaxed
