Women cannot leave the house without a vanity kit or a purse whether it is a simple face powder only or a lipstick. And of course a comb/brush is always expected inside.Mine includes a Max Factor 3 in 1 compact foundation.I don't use any other face powder because of my asthma. The powder and the scent of the cosmetics triggers an asthma attack. I also have a lipstick, eyebrow pencil and an eyeshadow.Other things that are found inside my purse are dental floss, toothbrush and a small tube toothpaste.

I remember my late, beloved mother who was always taking of vanity. I didn't understand what is vanity then at that time. Well, vanity is one's unique way of making herself attractive to others. Thus, vanity now serves something like a bag, a pouch, or anything that could be referred to as a beauty kit which contains lipstick, face powder, eyeliner, among others for the women to make herself up and make herself look adorable, beautiful and socially-acceptable. It could also be referred to as overnight-bag. Well, that's how ladies make themselves socially approved.
ReplyDeleteI like Neutrogena naman and Maybelline :) tsaka Avon haha ...
ReplyDeletei also like Max factor products aside from clinique, my bag is heavy due to my vanity kit ahaha, do you know that my eldest son always bring a vanity kit in his backpack when going to work, well who says only women are vain ahaha

ReplyDeleteWomen has really the urge to splurge on their secret weapon, their vanity kit. It is one that I saw everywhere when women go to the cosmetic department and well, what else is there to see when everyone and every woman there wants a piece of the same vanity kit but looks entirely different. That is beauty.
ReplyDeleteYes.. can't leave the house without the kikay kit. Seems like there is something missing without it! Actually girls spend a lot in cosmetics and other kikay things. Thanks for sharing this!
ReplyDeletei love Mac Factor, though it's a bit pricey, but a good make-up investment too

ReplyDeleteI love makeups...and like you and many other women out there I have my own "kikay kit" or what we also refer to as vanity kit. :) Haven't tried Max Factor yet, hopefully I can buy that soon enough so I can feature and review the product :D I always bring a little tube of toothpaste too! Although I don't have dental floss in mine.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you! TC
Am I the only woman in this word who doesn't have a vanity kit inside my bag? hahaha! Honestly, I don't have. Well I have comb, kleenex, hand sanitizer, toothbrush and wet wipes. But no make up or any cosmetics. hehe.. ay lip balm pala meron. hehehe.

ReplyDeleteKikay nga talaga mga girls noh? haha. I like a girl who's simple, I mean if she loves being kikay than that's great. But being kikay to impress really isn't. Well, just my two cents
